Supporting rescue dogs in Cheltenham and Gloucestershire

We offer an initial 90 minute consultation including both theory and practical work to start your rescue dog with the perfect foundations. After this we are proud to offer a unique, supportive training programme which we highly recommend for ongoing, effective results.

Our initial consultation comes with a summary report, some simple training tasks for you to get on with and a email/phone check in one week later.

We are proud to work closely with international and local rescues, to help settling in your rescue dog a stress free process with maximum support.

Before you rehome your rescue dog

A session to help you choose a rescue dog and to make introducing and settling in your new rescue a stress free process. Preparation is the key!

After you rehome your rescue dog (settling in session)

You may find you have few teething issues when rehoming your rescue, we are here to help you understand why yourrescue dog may be struggling and show you some simple, effective and kind training techniques to help them.

Correct use of training equipment

Struggle to clip your rescue dog’s nails? need to keep your dog safe with a muzzle? Our support sessions are fun, effective and easy – we will show you a practical demonstration and you will receive a summary report to help your continue the work

Common rescue training issues

If your rescue dog is pulling on lead, or jumping at visitors it is not only embarrassing but can be potentially harmful. Let us put the fun back into walks again and take the stress away.

Prices include a 90 minute consultation and training plan, plus a check in a week later. Your initial consultation will be with your senior dog trainer and pet behaviorist – Helen Motteram and rescue and rehabilitaion and rescue specialist – Tristan Motteram.

Prices are reduced considerably for rescue dogs – only £75 for your initial consultation.

* The initial consultation is not meant to replace the need for your dog to have ongoing training but act as a foundation or baseline, offering some initial guidance. Follow up sessions are highly recommended and are available to help optimise your dog’s learning. These packages will be introduced at the end of your consultation, dependent on your dog’s needs.
